Where is Main Event Catering located?

We're at 1041 East 76th Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska 99518 — home to our kitchen and two on-site event spaces. We also cater off-site across the Anchorage area.

How do I get a quote or check a date?

Call (907) 677-6888, email Alison@maineventcateringak.com, or use our online quote request. Catering is handled by appointment, so reach out and we'll set up a time to plan your event.

What types of events do you cater?

Weddings, corporate and office events, cocktail parties, birthdays, fundraisers, casino nights, holiday parties, company BBQs, airline catering, and more — on-site at our event spaces or anywhere your event takes place.

What kind of food do you serve?

A wide range — fresh Alaskan seafood (king crab, halibut, salmon), slow-roasted prime rib and steaks, BBQ, pasta, appetizers and grazing tables, breakfast and boxed lunches, and our signature Alaskannoli desserts. Menus are fully customizable.

Do you provide bar service?

Yes. We offer licensed, TAPS-certified beer & wine bar service, on-site or off-site, with portable bars, kegerators, and glassware. Note that Alaska law requires food to be served with alcohol, and we serve beer and wine only (no liquor).

Do you offer event spaces for rent?

Yes — two modern Anchorage rooms. The Club Room (from $500) features a 30' beer & wine bar, a 1,000 sq ft dance floor, and a stage with full AV. The Main Event Room seats up to 125 (150–175 standing) with screens, projection, and screen mirroring.

Do you offer dessert options?

Absolutely. From our signature Alaskannoli (cannoli with an Alaskan twist) and Cannachos to warm donut bars, chocolate fountains, handmade truffles, gourmet cupcakes, and custom cakes.

Is Main Event Grill the same as Main Event Catering?

They're part of the same family — Main Event Svc's LLC. Our catering and event spaces are run alongside our Main Event Grill restaurants, so catered food is prepared in a full on-site kitchen.

Can you cater off-site, away from your event spaces?

Yes. Thanks to our portable kitchens, bars, and equipment, we bring the full experience to your home, business, or venue across Anchorage and beyond. Off-site bar service requires a permit and a $500 minimum in alcohol sales.

How far in advance should I book?

The sooner the better, especially for weddings and peak seasons — popular dates and our event spaces fill up. Reach out as soon as you have a date in mind and we'll hold the conversation from there.
