Bar Service
Raise a glass — we've got the bar.
Licensed, TAPS-certified beer & wine bar service for weddings, corporate functions, mixers, and backyard BBQs. We handle the setup, the service, and the compliance.
On-site & off-site
The bar comes to you.
Whether your event is at Main Event, your home, your business, or another venue, we build a bar service tailored to your setting. Our portable equipment means we can bring everything — bars, kegerators, glassware, and TAPS-certified bartenders — directly to you, anywhere in the Anchorage area.
Why a TAPS-certified bartender?
As the event host, you carry real liability for what happens at your event. TAPS-certified bartenders are trained to recognize the signs of intoxication and head off underage drinking. It isn't just about the flair — it's about getting everyone home safely.
Our team will not serve anyone who appears visibly intoxicated and may ask any guest for valid, government-issued ID. We don't serve alcohol provided by guests, and the bar closes once our staff concludes service — as required by law.

Good to know
Bar service questions
What kind of alcohol do you serve?
Beer and wine products only — our license does not allow us to serve or provide liquor.
Do I have to purchase food with bar service?
Yes. Alaska state alcohol law requires food to be served alongside alcohol service.
How many bartenders should I hire?
We recommend one bartender for the first 50–75 guests, plus one more for every additional 50. Fewer stations mean longer lines.
Is a permit required?
For off-site events (anywhere other than Main Event), our catering license requires a permit from the Municipality of Anchorage, the State of Alaska, and the Anchorage Police Department. Approval can take 1–3 weeks; permit costs generally run $125–$225 depending on the event.
Is there a minimum for off-site events?
Yes — a minimum of $500 in alcohol sales for off-site events. If that isn't reached, our bartender or rep may collect the difference.
